Dr. Madalyn File grew up in the piedmont of North Carolina. She graduated from Appalachian State University where she majored in Exercise Science and minored in Psychology. Madalyn recently made the move to Rocky Mount, NC after graduating from Campbell University in December of 2017 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While at Campbell, Madalyn was able to complete her clinical rotations in Orthopedic settings and work alongside highly skilled Physical Therapists who prioritized evidence-based practice and manual therapy. She has been proactive in seeking out further education and has begun to pursue her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Madalyn has completed the C-STEP certification in 2019.

Dr. File has experience working with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions and providing individualized care to meet their goals. Madalyn grew up with the aspirations of becoming a Physical Therapist because her mother is also in the field. She grew up playing basketball, volleyball, and track. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, hanging out on the lake, snow skiing, and rooting for the Duke Blue Devils.
