Dr. Sara Campbell grew up in a small, central Pennsylvania town. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2012, where she majored in Therapeutic Recreation, minored in Psychology, and had an emphasis in Physical Therapy. Dr. Campbell graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December of 2016 from Campbell University. During her time at Campbell University, she had the opportunity to travel to Honduras on a medical mission trip. While in Honduras, she provided physical therapy to multiple natives and worked alongside several highly-trained health care professionals. To further her education, Dr. Campbell has also completed several manual therapy courses. After graduation, she immediately began to work at Manual Physical Therapy Inc., where she completed an advanced clinical internship until she successfully passed her national licensure exam. Dr. Campbell has completed the training in the field of orthopedic manual physical therapy and will be taking her certification exam in early 2018. She has also begun to work on her certification in STEP with plans to complete this training and certification later in the year 2018.
Dr. Campbell is excited about beginning her career with the highly skilled clinical staff at Manual Physical Therapy Inc. She looks forward to continuing to develop her manual skills and advance her training in the field of Manual Physical Therapy. Sara has experience working with high level athletes and with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. She is very committed to her patients and looks forward to working in an environment that provides patient centered care. Sara grew up playing a variety of different sports, such as volleyball, basketball, track, and softball. In her free time, you can find her rooting for any of the Pittsburgh sporting teams or the Duke Blue Devils, along with spending time with her two Siberian Huskies.
