Trevor Lewis grew up in Upstate New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2010 with a major in Biology and a minor in Health Sciences. Dr. Lewis then went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Daemen College in Buffalo, NY. Trevor graduated from Daemen in 2013 and immediately began to work at a local Manual Therapy clinic, where he was able to pick up a lot of manual therapy skills. Dr. Lewis then went on to be a traveling Physical Therapist where he got to travel throughout the country. He has had the pleasure of working in Washington DC, Baltimore, MD, Virginia, Dallas, TX, Washington State and the San Francisco Bay Area. This traveling experience granted him the opportunity to work with Physical Therapists across the country in many different clinical settings. Trevor then went on to complete training and a certification in Kinesiotaping, granting him the CKTP designation.
Dr. Lewis has experience and success in treating musculoskeletal disorders,
orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions and sports injuries, among many others. He continues to pursue further education and skill advancement at every opportunity within Manual Therapy. Dr. Lewis successfully completed a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in early 2019. He will complete the STEP certification in manual therapy exercise prescription later in 2019. Trevor is very committed to his patients and he enjoys working in a patient centered Physical Therapy atmosphere like that of Manual Physical Therapy, Inc. Dr. Lewis is always looking for ways to better himself and continue his learning and skill advancement, which is how he got here to Manual Physical Therapy, Inc. Trevor grew up playing sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, football and later on weight-lifting. In his free time, he enjoys rooting for the Buffalo Bills, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with his dog Parker.
